General Quest Dialogue

You may be able to stumble upon a good oil well by chance, but the ICA can’t depend on just dumb luck alone if they want this project to succeed.

A new mod for your Scanner will ensure you always know where to call down Oil Pumps.

Part 1 Dialogue

We’ve got working oil pumps, but the yield will never be what we need if we don’t know where the best wells are. Thankfully we have plans for a new Scanner mod, able to pinpoint any nearby concentrations of nanites. Get us these items and we’ll get one made as soon as we can.

Objectives

  • Deliver 10 Radio Equipment
  • Deliver 15 Copper Wire
  • Deliver 5 Pure Veltecite

Rewards

  • 2800 FP
  • x158 ICA Scrip
  • x22000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Radio Equipment can be found in industrial areas, BinsCabinets, and static spawns across the map. Common spot for these is the Comms Tower on Bright Sands, and the Starport Warehouse on Crescent Falls.
  • Copper Wires can be found in Dumpsters and as static spawns laying on the ground. A common spot for farming these is at the Science Campus on Bright Sands, as that’s a big industrial area.
  • Pure Veltecite can be mined from Veltecite Veins that can be found around waterfalls or water in general. Modded Mineral Scanner can help you find the nodes easier.

Part 2 Dialogue

Excellent, but you’re not done yet. These are the last components we need, I promise.

Objectives

  • Deliver 10 Circuit Boards
  • Deliver 5 Miniature Reactors
  • Deliver 5 Interactive Screens

Rewards

  • 3600 FP
  • x214 ICA Scrip
  • x24000
  • x1 Crude Oil Scanning Module

Guide

    • Circuit Boards can be found in BriefcasesLuggage, and as a static spawn across technologically advanced rooms and areas (racks, decks next to PCs, chairs, etc.). Check Comms Tower on Bright Sands.
    • Interactive Screens can be found in technologically advanced areas, such as the Comms Tower on Bright Sands, Staport Admin and Starport Warehouse on Crescent Falls.
    • Miniature Reactors can be easily found in Storage Boxes (The Cycle Storage Box). The best way to get these is by doing the Puzzles (power conduits), as the rooms have a guaranteed Storage Box. There’s one at the Water Facility on and East Collection Site on Bright Sands. There’s also one at the Skeleton Observation Site on Crescent Falls. Basically said, whenever you need this item and you see a Puzzle in some POI, then just try to figure it out. It guarantees a Miniature Reactor inside the Storage Box in the room. General Quest Dialogue

Marie’s research team has only found a of tarry liquid reminiscent of crude oil, but it doesn’t burn easily. Never mind that actual crude would need more power to get out of orbit and onto the station than it could ever generate…

Someone thought it was worth looking into, though, and the ICA is getting desperate.

Final Rewards

  • x1 Oil Pump Beacon

Quest Parts, Objectives & Guides

Click on Parts to sweep through all of the quest parts.

Part 1 quest image

Part 1 Dialogue

I’ve been sitting on a fairly ‘particular’ commission from an out of system arms company for some time, but I think you’re up to the task. They want ‘real world’ data on the efficacy of pistols used against other armed opponents. Fortuna III’s peculiar legal status and the use of emergency foam kits makes it a perfect testing ground, you see.

Objectives

  • Stash 10 Polymetallic Prefabricates
  • Stash 6 Resin Guns
  • Stash 6 Magnetic Field Stabilizers

Rewards

  • 1200 FP
  • x48 ICA Scrip
  • x15000 Krypto Marks

Guide

This is another DEAD DROP quest, so make sure you bring these items with you and stash them at the Office Dead Drop at Nutrition Farms.

Check the image below for the exact location of The Office Dead Drop at Nutrition Farms.

  • Polymetallic Prefabricates can be found as a static spawn Science Campus, North Uplink, South East Uplink, Vaccine Lab, and Waterfall Lab.
  • Resin Guns‘ most common spawn is in Coolers and Civilian Lockers, but can also be found as a static spawn.
  • Magnetic Field Stabilizers can be found in Dumpsters, but can also spawn as a static spawn in some Industrial sites and Construction areas.
Back to Basics Part 2
Part 2 quest image

Part 2 Dialogue

While our people look into the ‘crude’ samples, there might be something we can search for in the surface networks about it; you’ll need to check Uplink stations on Crescent Falls, then we can see if there’s anything there about that makes sense out of this.

Objectives

  • Visit the Starport Landing Pad Uplink on Crescent Falls
  • Deliver 3 Unique Data Drives

Rewards

  • 1500 FP
  • x1 Purple Helmet
  • x64 ICA Scrip
  • x17000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • The first part asks you to visit Starport Landing Pad Uplink on Crescent Falls, which is a POI on the hard map. The quest doesn’t force you to upgrade your Data Drives on Crescent Falls at all, you can do it on Bright Sands too.
  • Data Drives can be purchased from the ICA in their common variant, but also found at the Comms Base, and then slotted and upgraded at an in-raid uplink terminal. Each upgrade brings it to a higher-quality variant. Once the station finishes with the download, the Data Drive is upgraded one variant higher. This step is repeatable, and the Data Drives can be upgraded to their highest legendary variants. In this case, make sure you stop at the “Unique(Legendary) variant. These sorts of stations can be found at the Comms BaseSouth-East Uplink, and North Uplink, as well as in some places on Crescent Falls. The Upgrade stations or Terminals look like this:

Part 3 quest image

Part 3 Dialogue

This stuff is actual crude oil… mixed with billions upon billions of dead nanobots. It must have been used by the Progenitors to help terraform the planet! My predecessors from before the storms set up some pumps to collect the stuff; head to them and retrieve what you can.

Objectives

  • Find the Abandoned Oil Field
  • Hunt 5 Creatures in the Oil Field
  • Deliver 5 Old Oil Pump Parts

Rewards

  • 1200 FP
  • x48 ICA SCRIP
  • x15000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • The Abandoned Oil Field is located southwest of Pinnacle Labs. Once you get there you will notice the rusty oil pumps.
  • Kill 5 Creatures, there are plenty of them around the area.
  • Old Oil Pump Parts spawn right beside them. Check the image below for better clarification.

Back to Basics Part 4
Part 4 quest image

Part 4 Dialogue

We finally know that ‘NiC’ stands for Nanite-infused Crude. Someone figured out a way to trigger a reaction in the nanobots’ own batteries and get a small burst of energy from them; not much, but with billions of bots in a liter of NiC, it could be the answer to our energy troubles. Now, we just need to build some pumps! Get us these materials so we can fix up a first batch.

Objectives

  • Deliver 20 Alloys
  • Deliver 15 Hydraulic Pistons
  • Deliver 5 Shock Absorbers

Rewards

  • 150 FP
  • x64 ICA SCRIP
  • x17000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Alloys can be found in Dumpsters and Industrial crates, including as a static spawn in industrial areas.
  • Hydraulic Pistons can be found in Industrial Crates, but also as a random static spawn in industrial areas.
  • Shock Absorber has an epic rarity and it’s a rare spawn. It can spawn in industrial areas, but it can also spawn in containers. A good starting spot for searching these is the Science Campus on Bright Sands. They can spawn as a static spawn too.
Back to Basics Part 5
Part 5 quest image

Part 5 Dialogue

While we work on building those pumps, a request from a local artist has come in for hardened Bone Plates; they apparently make for a good crafting material. Kill some Marauders and complete the order for us, please.

Objectives

  • Hunt 10 Marauders
  • Deliver 7 Hardened Bone Plates

Rewards

  • 1800 FP
  • x87 ICA SCRIP
  • x18000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Hardened Bone Plates are dropped from dead Marauders (Jeffs). Well, this quest instructs you to eliminate them, so that’s where you’re going to get your Hardened Bone Plates.
Back to Basics Part 6
Part 6 quest image

Part 6 Dialogue

Getting these pumps to work isn’t as simple as we’d hoped. The pumps need to refine the NiC to eliminate as much crude as possible and concentrate the nanites in one convenient package ready for use, and that process some higher tech components than a simple pump. Here’s what we need for now.

Objectives

  • Deliver 15 Circuit Boards
  • Deliver 10 Shard Slicers
  • Deliver 3 Master Unit CPUs

Rewards

  • 1800 FP
  • x1 Heavy Duty Backpack
  • x87 ICA Scrip
  • x18000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Circuit Boards can be found in BriefcasesLuggage, and as a static spawn across technologically advanced rooms and areas (racks, decks next to PCs, chairs, etc.).
  • Shard Slicers can be found in Civilian Lockers if we go by the book. But, let’s be honest. In this game, the loot delivery is weird. Sometimes you can find items in the weirdest and least common places on the map. So I’d advise you to keep your eyes peeled and take it slow when looting. The racks in Starpoint Warehouse on Crescent Falls is one of the common spots to check for this item. It’s also one of the hardest to get.
  • Master Unit CPUs is an item with epic rarity, which means it’s tough to find. It can spawn in Briefcases and Jackets, and as a Static Loot. Some of the common locations to check for this item are the Jungle Camp and Crashed Ship on Bright Sands and Starport Admin and Starport Warehouse on Crescent Falls. It can spawn in Pinnacle Labs too.
Back to Basics Part 7 Quest Image
Part 7 quest image

Part 7 Dialogue

That Dr. Sullivan is starting to poke around and ask questions, he likes to think Osiris are the only ones that can do any research around here. But if he’s curious, then so is that Korolev snake. Head to the surface and perform some ‘live’ tests with ICA guns, and I’ll spread scuttlebutt that we’re working on new weapon improvements.

Objectives

  • Eliminate 8 Prospectors using an ICA weapon

Rewards

  • 2300 FP
  • x117 ICA SCRIP
  • x17000 Krypto Marks

Guide

The quest is pretty straightforward. It asks you to eliminate 8 enemy players using an ICA weapon. Eligible weapons for this quest are:

  • Bulldog
  • ICA Guarantee
  • Lacerator
  • Shattergun
  • Advocate
  • Voltaic Brute
  • Kinetic Arbiter
Back to Basics part 8 quest image
Part 8 quest image

Part 8 Dialogue

You’re back just in time; the tech guys have a new list of things they need to finalize NiC refiner and install them in the pumps. After that it will just be a matter of calling them down in the right spot…

Objectives

  • Deliver 8 Miniature Reactors
  • Deliver 8 Smart Mesh
  • Deliver 2 Gyroscopes

Rewards

  • 2800 FP
  • x158 ICA SCRIP
  • x22000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Miniature Reactors can be easily found in Storage Boxes (The Cycle Storage Box). The best way to get these is by doing the Puzzles (power conduits), as the rooms have a guaranteed Storage Box. There’s one at the Water Facility on and East Collection Site on Bright Sands. There’s also one at the Skeleton Observation Site on Crescent Falls. Basically said, whenever you need this item and you see a Puzzle in some POI, then just try to figure it out. It guarantees a Miniature Reactor inside the Storage Box in the room. Check the image below to see how the puzzles look like:
Water Facility Loot Room
Water Facility Loot Room
  • Smart Mesh is a rare spawn and can be located in higher danger zones. Starport Warehouse on Crescent Falls is one of them (on the racks), but Bright Sands also has it, in the Jungle and the Crashed Ship. Can also be found in Industrial Crates and Dumpsters, but also as a static spawn in some industrial areas.
  • Gyroscopes can be found in Cabinets. They can spawn inside the Crashed Ship.

Don’t spread this around, but the freighter bringing fresh supplies for the station isn’t just running late, it’s missing. Our inventory on several items is already low and getting worse by the day. Thankfully the planet has all we need… it’s just ‘a bit’ hard to get to. Here’s a list of what we need the most.

Objectives

  • Deliver 10 Textiles
  • Deliver 5 Shard Slicers
  • Deliver 5 Miniature Reactors

Rewards

  • 1800 FP
  • x87 ICA Scrip
  • x18000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Textiles are painful to find. They can spawn in containers in POIs such as Vaccine LabsSwamp CampComms TowerSouth West Collection Point, and the Jungle Camp on Bright Sands. They can also be found as a static spawn.
  • Shard Slicers can be found in Civilian Lockers if we go by the book. But, let’s be honest. In this game, the loot delivery is weird. Part 2 Dialogue

I’ve been stumped trying to find a birthday gift for one of ICA’s oldest members, but I think I’ve finally got it. This woman holds a real grudge against rattlers, says no matter she went in the final evac days, they were there hounding her. Head to these locations and take some out, I’m sure she’ll love the footage.

Objectives

  • Hunt 5 Rattlers at Woodcutter Camp
  • Hunt 5 Rattlers at Water Facility
  • Hunt 5 Rattlers at Power Plant

Rewards

  • 1800 FP
  • x87 ICA Scrip

Part 3 Dialogue

I appreciate you doing that for me… but I have one more thing to ask. If you could get me some rattler skins and bone plates, it’ll make the presentation of my gift so much better. Thank you!

Objectives

  • Deliver 10 Rattler Skins
  • Deliver 5 Hardened Bone Plates

Rewards

  • 2300 FP
  • x117 ICA SCRIP
  • x20000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Rattler Skins can be looted from dead Rattlers.
  • Hardened Bone Plates can be obtained from dead Marauders. They are both available on Bright Sands and Crescent Falls. Eliminating them is quite hard, so make sure you bring high stopping power with you.

General Quest Dialogue

Things didn’t work out with the prototype power generator, but at least it didn’t blow up.

The research you gathered hinted at another project, so there’s still some hope the ICA can find alternative power source and get out from under Korolev’s thumb.

Project Fireball was a bust, barely any power output before all the safeties kicked in and deadlocked the system. At least we have a lead on alternative, something called ‘NiC’ they were searching for in several locations. Head to the first one on the list for me, once it’s clear I can send a few people down to investigate.

Objectives

  • Visit the Pumpkin Fields on Crescent Falls
  • Hunt 25 Creatures at the Pumpkin Fields on Crescent Falls

Rewards

  • 930 FP
  • x35 ICA Scrip
  • x11000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Pumpkin Fields is a POE on the Hard Map, Crescent Falls. Just head there and eliminate 25 creatures of any type. It’s important that you bring a stronger weapon, as the map is harder than Bright Sands. Considering its vast territory, you can easily pull mobs from the Nutrition Farms Warehouse to the Pumpkin Fields and eliminate them there. Killing 25 creatures in one might be hard, but definitely doable.

This whole ordeal has sapped too many of our funds and resources, we need to get back in people’s minds, and their cash in our pockets. I want you to head to the old Geothermal Plant and remind anyone in the area that ICA sells the best weaponry. And bring back some loot while you’re in the area, for the sake of appearances.

Objectives

  • Visit Geothermal Plant on Crescent Falls
  • Deliver 5 Sample Containers
  • Eliminate 3 Prospectors using an ICA weapon

Rewards

  • 930 FP
  • x35 ICA SCRIP
  • x14000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • The Geothermal Plant is located in the south of Crescent Falls.

Another location mentioned is around the Skeleton Research area; head there and clear it out. Hrmmm, the wrong people might start getting curious about what we’re up to… bring back some Rattler Skins and Salvaged equipment; you know, normal prospector work.

Objectives

  • Hunt 25 Creatures at Skeleton Observation on Crescent Falls
  • Deliver 8 Rattler Skins
  • Deliver 5 Biological Samplers

Rewards

  • 1200 FP
  • x48 ICA Scrip

General Quest Dialogue

The ICA often receives job commissions and requests for prospectors to carry out, acting as a sort of middleman to access the planet.

Handling these jobs keeps the ICA happy, and they pay well enough, too.

Part 1 quest image

Part 1 Dialogue

Good, you’re here. We have a request from a former colonist to stash some items on the surface. General Quest Dialogue

Prospect Station’s power woes may soon be over. You just need to retrieve some very delicate machinery, get some highly radioactive meteor fragments, and help the ICA build a highly experimental power generator.

A Prospector’s life is definitely never boring.

Final Rewards

  • x1 Lacerator

Project Fireball Part 1 Quest Image
Part 1 quest image

Part 1 Dialogue

Our people have gone through more of the data Tao recovered, and this might just make sense. We’ll need some mag stabs to start our tests, and more importantly, Meteor Fragments.

Objectives

  • Deliver 5 Meteor Fragments
  • Deliver 10 Magnetic Field Stabilizers

Rewards

  • 380 FP
  • x11 ICA Scrip
  • x9400 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Meteor Fragments can be acquired by mining the small Meteorites that periodically fall from the sky. The exact frequency at which the Meteor Shower occurs is unknown. A rough estimate is once per day/storm cycle. That means you will definitely encounter these during your prime time. Care, once it finishes, other players may anticipate the impact too, as the shower can be seen from every place on the map. The Meteor Shower consists of small meteorites and a big one that has a huge impact and concludes the shower with a big bang. You need to mine the small ones, as they are the only ones that give Meteor Fragments. The big one gives a Meteor Core.
The Cycle Frontier Big and small Meteors
Big vs Small Meteors and Meteor Shower
  • Magnetic Field Stabilizers can be found in Dumpsters, but can also spawn as a static spawn in some POIs.
Project Fireball Part 2 quest image
Part 2 quest image

Part 2 Dialogue

This sort of research requires equipment we don’t have at hand, and I know Osiris isn’t just going to give it to us… Check these locations and some Portable Labs for us, Prospector.

Objectives

  • Visit Osiris Wildlife Preserve on Crescent Falls
  • Visit Skeleton Observation on Crescent Falls
  • Deliver 2 Portable Lab

Rewards

  • 480 FP
  • x14 ICA SCRIP
  • x10000 Krypto Marks

Guide

This quest asks you to visit Osiris Wildlife Preserve and Skeleton Observation on Crescent Falls. Just run past these two locations. They are marked in the image below.

  • The last part is to find and deliver Portable Lab. Portable Lab can be found in Briefcases and in Medical Areas. I also believe it has a chance to spawn in Cabinets, so make sure you loot them. Reasonably, it should have a slightly higher spawn rate on Crescent Falls. But can also be found in the north area on Bright Sands, such as the Crashed Ship. Sometimes you’ll even find it laying on the ground.

Part 3 Dialogue

There were quite a few people involved with this research, it doesn’t make sense that it was just forgotten. There should be more research kept in the surface power plants’ head offices; check the one on Bright Sands first.

Objectives

  • Enter the Bright Sands Power Plant Office
  • Deliver Notes on Meteor Experiment – 1

Rewards

  • 380 FP
  • x11 ICA Scrip
  • x9400 Krypto Marks

Guide

The Power Plant Office is located on the east side of the POI itself. Below you can find its exact location and closeup:

Power Plant office closeup
Notes on Meteor #1
Part 4 quest image

Part 4 Dialogue

This looks very promising, if what the research you brought back is accurate, not only would we be solving our power issues here, but we’d have something to compete with Korolev’s veltecite monopoly everywhere! There’s references to a prototype being built at the Crescent Falls Power Plant; head there and find whatever you can, quick as you can!

Objectives

  • Enter the Crescent Falls Power Plant Office
  • Deliver Notes on Meteor Experiment – 2

Rewards

  • 480 FP
  • x14 ICA Scrip
  • x10000 Krypto Marks

Guide

Unlike the previous part, this one asks us to go to Crescent Falls and visit the Power Plant Office. After getting there, you need to pick up Notes on Meteor Experiment – 2. This room is locked behind a puzzle, and you need to place all batteries to fit the power conduit. As usual, find the batteries and stash them in the right slots to open the door. For a better overview of where the item is, check the image below:

Notes on Meteor #2
Project Fireball Part 5
Part 5 quest image

Part 5 Dialogue

I read through the report you brought back; it’s not the easy win I had hoped for, but my people assure me they can make improvements on the original designs to make it work. We’ll need some meteor cores first, of course. Oh, and take out some other prospectors; reports of increased violence should keep any Korolev people on the field away, don’t want them getting curious about what we’re up to.

Objectives

  • Deliver 3 Meteor Cores
  • Eliminate 5 Prospectors using an Assault Rifle

Rewards

  • 480 FP
  • x14 ICA Scrip
  • x1000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • You need to deliver 3 Meteor Cores, available from Meteor Showers, an event that occurs once every day/night cycle. The Cores can be mined from the big Meteors, which is one per shower. More info on that can be found below:
Meteor explanation

The rest is simple, and you will need to eliminate 5 players with an Assault Rifle. Eligible weapons for this quest are:

  • AR-55 Autorifle
  • Manticore
  • Phasic Lancer
  • Gorgon
  • Advocate
  • KOR-47
Part 6 quest image

Part 6 Dialogue

I’m preparing to send a team down to the surface to finalize a prototype and run tests well away from the station; everyone assures me it’s safe, but I’ve read the warning myself. I need you to cull the number of creatures at these locations, it should make life for my people easier.

Objectives

  • Hunt 15 Creatures at the Lake on Bright Sands
  • Hunt 15 Creatures at Starport Warehouse on Crescent Falls

Rewards

  • 750 FP
  • x26 ICA Scrip
  • x10000 Krypto Marks

Guide

The quest is pretty straightforward, and you need to kill 15 creatures of any type at the Lake on Bright Sands, and Starport Warehouse on Crescent Falls. Check the image below for their locations.

Lake on Bright Sands in The Cycle Frontier
Lake on Bright Sands
Starport Warehouse Crescent Falls
Starport Warehouse Crescent Falls
Project Fireball Part 7
Part 7 quest image

Part 7 Dialogue

One of the supply crates for our project was left open under the rain, damaged most of the contents and now my team needs replacement parts. Stash them somewhere safe, we need to finish that prototype.

Objectives

  • Stash 4 Miniature Ractors in Greens Prospect Stockpile
  • Stash 8 Circuit Boards in Greens Prospect Stockpile
  • Stash 10 Copper Wires in Greens Prospect Stockpile

Rewards

  • 750 FP
  • x26 ICA Scrip
  • x12000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Miniature Reactors are a rare spawn. They can be easily found in Storage Boxes (The Cycle Storage Box). Check the image below to see how the Puzzle rooms look like:
Water Facility Power Room
Water Facility Puzzle Room
Skeleton Observation Site Crescent Falls The Cycle Frontier
Skeleton Observation Site on Crescent Falls
  • Circuit Boards can be found in Briefcases, Luggage, and as a static spawn across technologically advanced rooms and areas (racks, decks next to PCs, chairs, etc.).
  • Copper Wires can be found in Dumpsters and as static spawns laying on the ground. A common spot for farming these is at the Science Campus on Bright Sands, as that’s a big industrial area.

Now that you know where to find the items, the next part of the quest asks you to stash them in the Greens Prospect Stockpile Dead Drop. This is also located in the middle of the map on Crescent Falls. Check the image below for the exact Dead Drop location. The Stockpile Dead Drop is in the Stockpile Building.

Doing The Work is a quest in The Cycle: Frontier. The quest is given by Marie Gilbert – Ravel ICA Chief Procurement Officer. It consists of 8 different parts. All of them are included below.

The Cycle Frontier “Doing The Work” Quest Details

Doing The Work quest image

General Quest Dialogue

Thousands of people live on Prospect Station without any concept of what it takes to keep the lights on. The ICA needs brave prospectors risking it all to operate on the planet, so they can keep things running in orbit.

There’s evidence one such prospector got stranded on the surface, now it’s up to you to help track them down. Despite all the violence and rivalry, nobody deserves to be left alone on Fortuna III.

Final Rewards

  • x1 Helmet

Quest Parts, Objectives & Guides

Part 1 quest image

Part 1 Dialogue

I’m glad you’re here, something has just come and we need someone on the surface. An evac ship pilot caught sight of an ‘SOS’ after trying a new approach for the first time, but saw nobody in the area. We’re not sure how long it’s been there, but I’d like you to check the area for me.

Objectives

  • Find the SOS Sign

Rewards

  • 160 FP
  • x3 ICA Scrip
  • x6400 Krypto Marks

Guide

The SOS Sign is located at the South Beach just south of Water Facility on Bright Sands. Check the image below for a better explanation.

Part 2 quest image

Part 2 Dialogue

I’m not surprised you didn’t find anyone… I think I know who left the SOS there, it’s something he joked about in case he ever got stranded. Check this next location for me, Prospector.

Objectives

  • Enter the Water Facility Loot Room
  • Deliver Sign of Life From Stranded Prospector

Rewards

  • 130 FP
  • x2 ICA SCRIP
  • x5800 Krypto Marks

Guide

Enter the Water Facility Loot Room on Bright Sands and get the Picture Frame which is located on the bed. Then survive and deliver it to ICA. The Loot Room is located on the northeast side of the area, marked in the image below.

Water Facility Loot Room Location

This quest is a bit puzzling, as you need to power up those three circuits to unlock the door. This can be done by removing the batteries from another power slot located within the same area. Check the image below for a better understanding. It may not replicate the same positions as the spawns for these are random.

Water Facility Power Container Locations

After you gather them all, make sure you plug them in the power slots next to the Water Facility Loot Room. This will power up the door and you will be able to open it.

Once inside, search for a bed, as the picture frame is located on top of it. Check the image below:

Survive and extract!

Part 3 quest image

Part 3 Dialogue

So it was Tao, damn it. He took up prospecting in the early days, before word got out… and before foam kits came standard. Some said he must have just made it big and sneaked off to another system, but I never believed that. I have a lot to think about… and more work for you.

Objectives

  • Deliver 2 Zero Systems CPUs
  • Deliver 5 Fusion Cartridge-Batteries
  • Deliver 5 Alloys

Rewards

  • 200 FP
  • x4 ICA Scrip
  • x7000 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Zero Systems CPUs can be found in Briefcases and Cabinets.
  • Fusion Cartridge-Batteries can be found in Civilian Lockers, Bins, and as static spawns across some POIs. A good location for getting these is the Lagoon on Bright Sands.
  • Alloys can be found in industrial places, laying on the ground as static spawns, or in Industrial and Luggage boxes.
Part 4 quest image

Part 4 Dialogue

The ICA may run this station, but its Korolev that owns the veltecite refiners needed to generate its power. The ICA funded research for alternative power sources, before the evacuations. Head down there and get us our data back.

Objectives

  • Visit Southeast Uplink on Bright Sands
  • Deliver 3 Uncommon Data Drives

Rewards

  • 200 FP
  • x4 ICA Scrip
  • x7000 Krypto Marks

Guide

The first part of the quest asks you to head to Southeast Uplink on Bright Sands. Check the image below:

Southeast Uplink map location

The second part asks you to deliver 3 Uncommon Data Drives. Data Drives can be purchased from the ICA and have a special mechanic in this game. They can be brought and upgraded in-raid at one of the stations located around the map. One is at the South East Uplink. Check the image below to see how they look.

Once you slot the Data Drive inside the console, you will need to download fresh data and upgrade it to a higher quality variant. Once the download is finished, the Data Drive is upgraded one variant higher. This step is repeatable, and the Data Drives can be upgraded to their highest legendary variants. But for this quest, we will need Uncommon quality only. Common Data Drives can also be found around Comms Base.

Part 5 quest image

Part 5 Dialogue

I’m organizing a team to scout Bright Sands for Tao’s comm signal; if he came close enough to an active repeater it should be logged in the network. And I need you to stash some spare equipment for them, just in case.

Objectives

  • Visit Comms Base on Bright Sands
  • Stash 3 Radio Equipment at the Satellite Dish Dead Drop
  • Stash 3 Circuit Boards at the Satellite Dish Dead Drop

Rewards

  • 240 FP
  • x6 ICA Scrip
  • x7700 Krypto Marks

Guide

For this quest, you need to have 3 Radio Equipment and 3 Circuit Boards and stash them at the Satellite Dish Dead Drop. The Satellite Dish Dead Drop location is highlighted in the image below:

  • Radio Equipment can be found in technologically advanced areas, as a static spawn on Decks, PCs, etc.
  • Circuit Boards can be found in Briefcases, Luggage, and as a static spawn across technologically advanced rooms and areas (racks, decks next to PCs, chairs, etc.).
Part 6 quest image

Part 6 Dialogue

We found a number of candidate locations Tao could have visited, but there’s one only a skilled prospector can access. Head there, and check the nearby Uplink; if I kno- knew, Tao, he’ll have saved something for us to find.

Objectives

  • Enter the House on Stilts
  • Deliver 3 Rare Data Drives

Rewards

  • 200 FP
  • x4 ICA Scrip
  • x7000 Krypto Marks

Guide

The House on Stilts is located in next to the North Uplink. For a precise look, take a look at the image below:

House On Stilts Map Location

As for the Rare Data Drives, they can be purchased from the ICA in their common variant, but also found at the Comms Base, and then upgraded at an in-raid uplink terminal. Each upgrade brings it to a higher-quality variant. Once the station finishes with the download, the Data Drive is upgraded one variant higher. This step is repeatable, and the Data Drives can be upgraded to their highest legendary variants. These sorts of stations can be found at the Comms Base, South-East Uplink, and North Uplink. The Upgrade stations or Terminals look like this:

Part 7 quest image

Part 7 Dialogue

At least I finally know for sure. I have a lot to go through from the data you retrieved, but it looks like Tao was thinking ahead, as always. He knew power would become an issue, and found something that could help. For now, get us Fusion Batteries, it’s what he was looking for on his last drop. And shoot some aliens for him while you’re down there, he’d have liked that.

Objectives

  • Visit Power Plant on Bright Sands
  • Hunt 25 Creatures at the Power Plant on Bright Sands
  • Deliver 15 Fusion Cartridge-Batteries.

Rewards

  • 310 FP
  • x8 ICA Scrip
  • x8500 Krypto Marks

Guide

  • Fusion Cartridge-Batteries can be found in Civilian Lockers, Bins, and as static spawns across some POIs. A good location for getting these is the Lagoon on Bright Sands.
  • The quest asks you to eliminate 25 creatures of any type at the Power Plant POI on the Bright Sands map. Its location is marked below.

Part 8 Dialogue

Tao collected a lot of old research, it’s hard to tell what’s useful and what’s just theory. Stash these items at the Bright Sands’ Base Camp, I’ll send someone down there to run some tests on the surface, don’t want to risk blowing a hole out of the station.

Objectives

  • Stash 3 Miniature Reactors in the Base Camp Office
  • Stash 2 Valuable Data Drives in the Base Camp Office

Rewards

  • 380 FP
  • x11 Osiris Scrip
  • x9400 Krypto Marks

Guide

This is a Dead Drop quest, and requires you to visit the Base Camp on Bright Sands. The quest asks you to find the Base Camp Office Dead Drop. Without further ado, you can find its location in the image below:

Base Camp Office Dead Drop
Base Camp Office Dead Drop

Once you find it, just stash Miniature Reactors and Data Drives and click Deposit.

The Data Drives can be purchased from the ICA in their common variant, but also found at the Comms Base, and then upgraded at an in-raid uplink terminal.
