Trainers, Pokemon Go’s Detective Pikachu event is going live on May 7 featuring new, cool bonuses, Detective Hat Pikachu Photobombing, increased spawn rate of specific Pokemon, new shiny Pokemon, new Field Research tasks and more.
The Detective Pikachu event goes live on May 7 at 1:00 PM PDT and players around the globe will have limited time (until May 17) to start with the following Field Research tasks:
- Catch Seed Pokemon (Bulbasaur) – Treecko
- Catch Water-Type in Backpack (Psyduck) – Magikarp
- Catch Fire-Type of Eevee (Flareon) – Arcanine
- Catch 10 Jigglypuff, Aipom, Snubull – Ditto disguised as Zubat
