As announced by Kinetic Games, they will release their game titled Phasmophobia on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series sometime in August. The really interesting thing is that the PlayStation 5 version will be offering support for PlayStation VR2.

From what we know, Phasmophobia is a psychological horror game where players will lead a team of paranormal investigators. The whole group’s mission is to enter haunted locations and see what is really happening there. While they are there, the team has to collect as much evidence as they can.

A certain new feature has raised some dust and has divided many Trainers on whether this feature is needed or not in Pokemon Go.

PokemonGoHub was part of the lucky ones that were allowed to see the Routes feature before any of us did. From what they are sharing with the public, is that they think the new Routes feature will be a hit in Pokemon Go.

They disclosed that they cannot share any pictures related to the feature, but they indeed can explain to us more about Routes, how the feature works and how it looks. Some things we know from datamines, so we can make up a picture in our minds, but PokemonGoHub suggests that everything might change from that datamine.

To create a Route will be quite easy, so all you have to do is to click a button. Choose a PokeStop as your starting point and go away on your adventure to find new and exciting stuff. You can put your own stamp on the Route, or you can remain completely anonymous.

It was also shared that there will be certain bonuses, but we do not know exactly the whole package you will get once you create your Route (and get it approved). Here comes the tricky part, though. Niantic is apparently planning to deliver approval of a Trainer’s Route in just 24 hours, using GPS and text data to search if the Trainer has gone through a forbidden or dangerous zone.

Since we do not have eyes on the feature, we rely currently on PokemonGoHub’s experience, and they say that it is pretty good so far. However, some players are concerned about safety, as it will track the Trainer’s activity and where they have gone.

Other players say that it is a bit ironic that the whole feature will be based on PokeStops and Gyms because it is excluding the rural areas again, given that there aren’t many Gyms or PokeStops available as opposed to cities.

Something that we only dreamt about has finally happened, and that is Niantic admitting Pokemon Go has bad quality.

In a short interview conducted by Eurogamer, when asked to elaborate more on the recent bugs, a spokesperson for Niantic said that the company vowed never to make that mistake.

Now, the thing we have all been waiting for: accepting errors. It has been said to Eurogamer, by Niantic (we assume the spokesperson) that Pokemon Go indeed needs quality improvement, mainly due to recent events that shook the whole Pokemon Go community. You know which events we are talking about.

Here is what Niantic said to Eurogamer during the Pokemon Go hands-on event in Los Angeles:

“It was a technical bug in nature, but I do know with 100 percent confidence, our engineering team [are] super aware of the root cause,”

“The issue is resolved as we communicated, which is good.”

“But the broader point that I would touch on there: quality. Clearly it’s an important thing and maybe not something that we’ve been the best at as of late – maybe throughout much of our history. And I can very confidently say that is something that we as a leadership team are echoing consistently from the tip top.”

“There’s been meaningful change throughout this entire year. A lot of times that tooling, that quality work that goes on behind the scenes can be even more ambitious as, let’s say, a new [feature] in and of itself. There are some really, really smart people hard at work on like making things better, because we know we want to do better, we can do better, but it doesn’t happen overnight.”

The thing with Niantic is that they only fix bugs, or any other problem only after players single that problem out. Only then do they take some action. If players do not report a bug, and Niantic sees that something is wrong, they will not do anything to try and fix something that could potentially crash the game.

Also, it is a little bit bizarre that they are treating New Zealand and Australia as testing regions, because, most bugs and problems happen there first. We are offering our condolences to the players located in New Zealand and Australia.

Last but not least, we are still waiting for those “bombastic” features. Hope goes last, but we are all getting tired and restless.

What do you think about this acceptance?

Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf ran away from Remote Raid participants. Trainers that used Remote Raid passes to battle the trio, instead of encountering a Pokemon, encountered an obstacle. A huge one.

As Niantic said, Trainers that used Remote Raid Passes, between June 1st, 2023 and June 5th, 2023, will be gifted an additional Remote Raid pass, and any Remote Raid Pass that was used, will be returned.

Niantic said the following:

“Trainers,

We apologize for the technical issue Remote Raid participants encountered during the latest appearances of Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf in five-star raids.

We will return any Remote Raid Passes that were used by Trainers who participated in Uxie, Mesprit, or Azelf raids between June 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time and June 5, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. PST. We will also gift those affected Trainers an additional Remote Raid Pass, regardless of how many Remote Raid Passes they currently have in their Item Bag.”

It is quite nice for Niantic to do this, given the situation between them and their players.

Last but not least, Niantic will be hosting a special global raid event for every Trainer, that will take place on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. The main stars of the event will be Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, which will be appearing in their correspondent regions.

We guess, that as a “thank you” for all Trainers, the limit for participating in Remote Raids per day will be increased to fifteen Remote Raids per day. This “bonus” will be active from June 10th, 2023, until June 11th, 2023.

What do you think about this? Did you have any problems?

You know the saying of a cat having nine lives, however, all that does not matter in the upcoming game titled Crypt Custodian.

As announced by Kyle Thompson, the developer that is behind the famous game Islets, they will be releasing the game Crypt Custodian on PC (via Steam) sometime next year. It was not specified whether or not the game will be available on consoles.

In Crypt Custodian, the players will be taking the role of a cat named Pluto. This cat has died and is now in the afterlife. But, everything takes a wrong turn when Pluto meets Kendra, the Afterlife Guardian. Kendra banishes Pluto from the palace and sentences the cat to life (or afterlife?) of cleaning. Every day, every minute, every second.
